Hello, everyone! My name is Nick Swatz, but you can call me Zulu, Emperor of the Peacock Legion. I am a Cinema Studies major, and I could not love it more! Film is certainly a passion of mine, and I am always excited to learn more about it.

I think to ask a cinephile their favorite film is one of the most cruel things you can do. However, it is safe to assume that anything that Meryl Streep appears in is probably at the top of my list. All hail, the Supreme Goddess and Queen of Everything!

Television is kind of my thing. My mind is always spinning, so my T.V. is always on. Scandal is my favorite show of all time, but I also like to go back and indulge in some of my favorites from the past; The Golden Girls, Ugly Betty, Will & Grace, Friends, That 70’s Show (Kitty Foreman is my spirit animal…).

I am attending TIFF in just a few short days with some wonderful people and I could not be more thrilled! I hope to be friends with Susan Sarandon. This is going to be a great semester, I can feel it in the air. Here’s to great memories and a severe lack of “over it” sunglasses!
