Over the past two days we were lucky enough to attend master classes held by our professors. These were very interesting as it was a chance to learn from the experts themselves while at TIFF. 

The first class was held yesterday with former programmer Liz Czach. This was very informative as she taught us about her job and what’s it takes to become a programmer. A memorable quote was in discussion of what skill sets do cinema students need. He response was no matter the job on or off set watch everything and know your film history. 

Today’s masterclass was the director of adult learning, Theresa Scandiffio. She was able to talk about what it takes to make in this industry and the workers of TIFF. There are over 2,000 volunteers that help during this event but only 300 contracted full time workers. 

Both classes were very informative and rewarding.
