Greetings Friends, Colleagues, Comrades, and Cadets!

My name is Alexander M. Norris, commonly referred to as Alex. I am a Creative Writing major with a concentration in Screenwriting, which might explain what I am doing in this Cinema Studies course. OUSWG.

My favorite movie is The Princess Bride but I wouldn’t turn down a 90’s Tom Hanks movie either.
My favorite zoo animal is the giraffe because I am fascinated at the size of a baby giraffe.
My favorite ice cream is Chocolate Chip but it has to be Private Selection or Baskin Robbins because they use chocolate shavings and not chocolate chips.
If you’re a TV buff, let’s talk. Frasier, New Girl (I wrote a spec script DO YOU WANT TO READ IT?), Shameless, Californication, Parenthood, Parks and Recreation, The Office…the list goes on and on and on and on and on.
My favorite Bill Murray film is a four way tie between The Man Who Knew Too Little, Groundhogs Day, Ghostbusters, and Wes Anderson’s collection.

I’m fairly new to the ideas of filmmaking but I am geeked about the trip and learning more on the industry side of things.

If anybody wants to be my facebook friend, that’d be swell. I also make a mean snapchat (alexandernorris) video and post a lot of selfies on instagram. For the music savvy, I also craft sad spotify playlists. While I’m at it, I’ll just leave this here as well. (A couple of dudes, being sexy all at the same time)
