Greetings fellow classmates, I’m Michael, call me Mikey, Mendola. I’m in my 5th year at Oakland University and am a Cinema Studies major. Honestly I was trying to major in Anemic Studies but I’m dyslexic and just read the list wrong.

I don’t really like movies at all. They are loud and bright and rewinding a VHS is too much of a hassle. Maybe if they put movies on a disc I could get into them. The one exception is the movie Kazaam starring Shaquille O’neill. What an actor.

I do however enjoy a good TV show. My favorite is that one that displays information from local elementary and secondary schools against the backdrop of fish in an aquarium. When a fish swims offscreen, I’m always at the edge of my seat wondering if it will come back.

I’m really excited to attend the Toronto International film festival because I hear they have good fries. Also I’m pretty sure Carmen San Diego is there and I’ve been trying to beat that game for like 15 years.

More about me, I play a mean cowbell and my friend owns a boat. Sometimes my nose gets cold.
