Hey CINEMA 320

My name is Devon Meadows, I am a 6th year senior at Oakland University working for a double major in Communications and Cinema Studies. Currently I have an internship with Exxodus Pictures, I have been the Treasurer for the Men’s Rugby Team for the last 3 years. And I have also been the President of the Club Sports Advisory Council for the last 3 yeas. I am a part time bartender at the TGI Fridays of Auburn Hills. And I am a part time employee of the Campus Recreation as a Club Sports Supervisor. My family owns Golden Meadows Photography, and my dream one day, is to transform our studio into something greater as a production studio for local buisness. As you can tell, I’m fairly busy and don’t always have time to invest in TV or Film. That does not however disqualify me from having a love for the cinematic world. Generally I am a “STAR WARS” fanatic and a huge fan of “That’s 70 Show.” But I am also in love with films like “BIG FISH” and “THE MASTER”. As of late I have taken a course pertaining to understsnding politics through film, which gave me a completely new concept of why or how films are made. I have never been to a film festival so I’m super excited to learn from this course.
